THE EMPLOYER
- Specialty insurance valuation firm based in Alberta – candidate ideally to be located in Calgary
- Advisory services on claims, business interruption, construction and cyber
- Collaborative, sophisticated team with expertise in finance and insurance
THE POSITION
- Conduct business interruption reviews with brokers and clients
- Support pre-loss business interruption for brokers and policy holders
- Confidently sell and recommend the firm’s product and ability to support claims
- Ability to engage with clients to learn their business operations from a risk and income generating perspective
MUST HAVES
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial property with a basic understanding of business interruption coverage (and an aptitude to become expert)
- CIP designation an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- General understanding of financial statements
- Ability to analyze policy wordings, interpret and advise on appropriate coverage
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills, a keen sense of curiosity and the ability to think outside the box
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
